Tweaking the Fiberglass Mold |
||
Here is a bad mess. When we rotated the model during the Plaster Casting process for the video shoot we did not realign the model with the bodycast properly. The models calf contracted more for the frontcast than the backcast. This caused the front half to be smaller that the back. IT's very noticeable. To fix this we will need to recast the models calf section that is awry and then place that new fiberglass mold into this area. About 2 hours of work. Grrrr...... |

Notice how close the Armpit is. we should have had our model bring his arms away from his body more. Not only was it a pain to get plaster bandages into this area to do the cast, but fixing the fiberglass in this area drove us crazy.. Took about 1 hour per armpit. Grrrrrrrrrr...... |

Fiberglass loves to make sharp edges. You'll need to sand these down or you'll be reaching for the Band-Aid box. About 2 hours of time. GRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr....... |

Heres some work we had to do to the INSIDE of the armpit. Uuugghhh.... Not fun... You can only access the inside of the bodycast through the neck opening... and that's not too wide to work in. You can not see much with your arm in there. Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! | ||
